Good Friday (from the senses pious, holy of the word "good"),[1][2] is a religious holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Black Friday, Holy Friday, Great Friday, or Easter Friday,[3] though the latter normally refers to the Friday in Easter week.
Based on the details of the Canonical gospels, the Crucifixion of Jesus was most likely to have been on a Friday (John 19:42).[4] The estimated year of Good Friday is AD 33, by two different groups, and originally as AD 34 by Isaac Newton via the differences between the Biblical and Julian calendars and the crescent of the moon.[5][6][7][8][9][10] A third method, using a completely different astronomical approach based on a lunar Crucifixion darkness and eclipse model (consistent with Apostle Peter's reference to a "moon of blood" in Acts 2:20), points to Friday, 3 April AD 33.[11][12]

According to that time, Jesus could return as soon as next year or 20yrs. from now. Many things have suffered prophetic interpretation in the Church because we are not on God’s timetable with how we perceive time:

8 But do not forget one thing, my dear friends! There is no difference in the Lord's sight between one day and a thousand years; to him the two are the same.

Many of us have noted changes in the seasons, this year particularly: buds coming out in the dead of winter, everything blooming at the same time this Spring, and now a canopy of green summer shade and we have not had the time change just yet. The beauty and glory of God is all around you... do not miss it in your pursuits of daily life. When I meditate on what Jesus did, he often walked around a lot to pray. Some people are trying to meet 20-30 min. exercise goals, but I find a nice, long 2hr. walk is very soul cleansing and builds your strength physically and spiritually. Most of us would do well to dedicate an hour or two daily to Bible reading and prayer walking, as the computer and tv are modern day idols and media worship idolatry.

Now is also the time to break long-held fasts. Fasts are meant to discipline the mind and body, and strengthen the Spirit, as it encourages reliance on the Spirit as opposed to food. Many of us have chosen to fast from spending money, some of us have made commitments that go further than Easter to abstain from Bain products, until our leaders take the time to listen to us. Money has a way of making people deaf to what the right thing is. If you would like to participate with us, about the only corporate thing we do is pray:

You’ll find all the details there.

Dr. Charles Stanley gives an excellent sermon of waiting on the Lord. If you can’t sit still long enough to hear from God, chances are you will miss what He’s trying to tell you. I do believe that God speaks to us. Primarily, He speaks through His word, He will give you daily guidance, but the kind of fellowship most Christians long for is to hear His voice personally. We also want to have visions and dreams. That is the purpose of the Lent fast tradition and to celebrate Good Friday, for us to cultivate that fellowship.

Good Friday is also a time to rest and just stop and worship. There will be a fabulous service tonight in GA, put on by Chris Tomlin:

Christian music is far removed from the organ standards of yesterday... many young people with their gift have been bringing the salvation to the Lord all over the world with music!!

I know that we are reaching people when they say, “I passed by the Christian Channel and this song just got me!” King David wrote many Psalms, that were converted into hymns by the early American Churches.

Good Friday, in essence, is the revival and the passion we hold within of being sealed with the Holy Spirit. People all over the world celebrate this holiday in their own way, Jews with the Passover, Christian Churches respectfully with their own traditions, and others who observe it as a wonderful time of celebrating or renewing their commitment to Christ.

Speaking of lives given to Christ, there is a young man I’d like to recognize from right here in GA:

Army Pfc. Johnathon F. Davis

Died March 29, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom

20, of Griffin, Ga., assigned to 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died Mar. 29, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of woundscaused by enemy small-arms fire.

Community mourns soldier killed in Afghanistan

The Associated Press

GRIFFIN, Ga. — A Georgia community is mourning the death of a local Army soldier killed while serving in Afghanistan.

Randall Valimont, pastor of the Griffin First Assembly of God, says the church will dedicate its Easter program to the memory of 20-year-old Pfc. Johnathon F. Davis, whose father is a lay pastor at the church.

The Pentagon says Davis of Griffin was killed March 29 by enemy small arms fire in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the soldier was able to talk with his parents shortly before his death. Valimont says Davis' wife is eight months pregnant and he was looking forward to being a father.

Davis was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.

I want to not only recognize the sacrifice of Davis, but discuss why what he did was so important:

We are in a very contentious area in Afghanistan. If you had not heard, we are very concerned that shortly after some Korans were burned that had terrorist scribbling in the books that contained messages that we were in a political conundrum. According to proper respect, even though the books had been marred as to use them for a purpose contrary to what is in them, the books were burned on the New Moon. This is a purification ritual. The political outrage that followed was to be expected, but if it was not purely political, the Muslims would have asked for the ashes of the Korans, to bury them, according to their own customs on their holy books.

However, what should have been done in secret or was done secretly so as not to make a statement of provocation on religious differences, was quickly discovered, but more likely because a major Taliban attack was foiled. We suspect that this was an avengement plot for the death declaration for Osama being made, or it had something to do with radical Islam coordinating their presence in Syria, something that they didn’t want traceable by computer. Yet, it may be, as we and Netanyahu have feared, a surge on Israel, as pre-emptive missiles hit early, unexpected from conflict we felt would mobilize for a summer conflict, after this Koran burning incident.

What should have been a matter of military policy mushroomed into a public relations nightmare politically. Obama’s words on the matter, as we all remember, will be a stain on the Office of the United States, known in the military to the likes of Bill Clinton’s ‘Monica Moment’:

OBAMA WAS PUBLICLY ADMONISHED YESTERDAY. WHAT HE DID WAS NOT ONLY A GAFFE, IT IS SOMETHING THAT UNDERMINES THE INTEGRITY AND SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES, BECAUSE IT PLACED POLITICS ABOVE THE MISSION.

Yet, it didn’t stop there:
I honestly believe that Obama’s statement caused a cascade of even worse events because it made the troops feel that he did not trust them. In the 48 hrs. that followed, elders riled up by the Taliban attempted to place their flag on the wall of our fort, because of Obama’s disapproval and apology:
assailing the fort                                            Malaysian Muslims protesting at US-Malaysian Embassy
(on wall of the fort, burning effigies in protest and flags)
Bringing Obama to his knees

In no time in military history that I recall has any flag of an enemy been put on a U.S. Fort, in such a flagrant manner. I understand the protests, even Malaysian Muslims protested at a US Embassy in their own country, I get that. Yet, I believe with my whole heart had Obama never said those words, that this man would not had gone on to kill women and children in the days that followed Obama’s placation:

Now, I am not blaming Obama for the death of Johnathon Davis or for the conduct that resulted by this soldier, but I want you to understand that until this time, we had significantly reduced insurgent fire since last year, until this happened.

However, I will say, that as leaders, we have to maintain a bridle on our mouths. Obama’s failure to give a terse “we’ll get to the bottom of this” or “there will be a full investigation, and I am deeply concerned”, or “I will have the Pentagon issue a full and proper statement on why the Korans were burned” caused a breakdown from the top-down in chain of command. Obama, already being stripped of Executive Order Power on 1/1/12 for failing to run sanctions by Congress first, had his words seen by Americans and Muslims alike as atrocious on the burning of Korans providing the seed for the soil for lethal consequences.
20 Singing to a person who is depressed is like taking off a person's clothes on a cold day or like rubbing salt in a wound.

Obama’s apology sounded fake and hollow, as if he were begging, and that angered soldiers, Afghans, and Americans alike. Afghans felt stripped of their dignity, and we were pained of our old wounds of 9/11. We do know that the soldier suffered from PTSD, because he was a chronic alcoholic, and this was enough to set him over the edge. Hence the blackouts and not remembering everything that happened that night. The military was also confronted with why they did not do an automatic psych evaluation on every soldier within the wake of protests after this event.

With words, Obama set the course of events that ended in the deaths of Afghan civilians, which in turn, contributed to the deaths of more soldiers with a smoldering Taliban revenge blown into a fire, setting aflame otherwise non-violent Muslims. I say that as a leader, we can not hold those below us to a lesser standard than we hold ourselves, so I pray for Obama’s full impeachment and removal from Office.
There are 2 bills that have been put forth, that are being wholeheartedly supported:

OBAMA IMPEACHMENT BILL NOW IN CONGRESS

Declares president's use of military without approval 'high crime, misdemeanor'

Let the president be duly warned.
Rep. Walter B. Jones Jr., R-N.C., has introduced a resolution declaring that should the president use offensive military force without authorization of an act of Congress, “it is the sense of Congress” that such an act would be “an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor.”
Specifically, Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution reserves for Congress alone the power to declare war, a restriction that has been sorely tested in recent years, including Obama’s authorization of military force in Libya.
In an exclusive WND column, former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo claims that Jones introduced his House Concurrent Resolution 107 in response to startling recent comments from Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
“This week it was Secretary of Defense Panetta’s declaration before the Senate Armed Services Committee that he and President Obama look not to the Congress for authorization to bomb Syria but to NATO and the United Nations,” Tancredo writes. “This led to Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., introducing an official resolution calling for impeachment should Obama take offensive action based on Panetta’s policy statement, because it would violate the Constitution.”

In response to questions from Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., over who determines the proper and legal use of the U.S. military, Panetta said, “Our goal would be to seek international permission and we would … come to the Congress and inform you and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress – I think those are issues we would have to discuss as we decide what to do here.”
“Well, I’m almost breathless about that,” Sessions responded, “because what I heard you say is, ‘We’re going to seek international approval, and then we’ll come and tell the Congress what we might do, and we might seek congressional approval.’ And I just want to say to you that’s a big [deal].”
Asked again what was the legal basis for U.S. military force, Panetta suggested a NATO coalition or U.N. resolution.
Sessions was dumbfounded by the answer.
“Well, I’m all for having international support, but I’m really baffled by the idea that somehow an international assembly provides a legal basis for the United States military to be deployed in combat,” Sessions said. “They can provide no legal authority. The only legal authority that’s required to deploy the United States military is of the Congress and the president and the law and the Constitution.”
The exchange itself can be seen below:
The full wording of H. Con. Res. 107, which is currently referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary, is as follows:
Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a president without prior and clear authorization of an act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution.

OF COURSE, THERE ARE CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES TO A COSTLY HEARING:

NOW, THERE IS A REASON THAT YOU ARE NOT HEARING THIS NEWS. AFTER THE OCCUPY INSURRECTION WHICH IS NEARLY RUNNING OUT OF MONEY, THE BOUGHT-AND-PAID PRESS HAS BEEN INSTRUCTED BY THE WHITE HOUSE NOT TO REPORT ON THE GRAVELY SERIOUS NATURE OF OBAMA’S OFFENSES, BECAUSE THEY HAD A LOT OF MONEY INVESTED IN HIM AND HIS CAMPAIGN.

NOW IT APPEARS THAT THERE IS NO LOVE FOR OBAMA OR HIS POLICIES EVEN FROM WITHIN HIS OWN PARTY, AS HIS BUDGET WAS VOTED DOWN UNANIMOUSLY:

GOVERNMENT

HOUSE VOTES 414-0 TO REJECT OBAMA’S BUDGET PLAN

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.)
WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — Republicans are ready to push through the House an election-year, $3.5 trillion budget that showcases their deficit-cutting plan for revamping Medicare and slicing everything from food stamps to transportation while rejecting President Barack Obama’s call to raise taxes on the rich.
The blueprint by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., was headed for all but certain House passage Thursday, mostly along party lines. It faces a demise that is just as sure in the Democratic-run Senate, which plans to ignore it, but the battle remains significant because of the clarity with which it contrasts the two parties’ budgetary visions for voters.
(Related: ‘Let’s Not Wait Until We Have a Crisis’: Paul Ryan Pleads for Fiscal Reform in Budget Debate)
Republicans were focused on sharper deficit reduction and starkly less government than Democrats wanted and were proposing to lower income tax rates while erasing many unspecified tax breaks. Obama and Democrats were ready to boost taxes on families making above $250,000 and on oil and gas companies, add spending for roads and schools and cull more modest savings from domestic programs.
“They’re choosing the next election over the next generation,” Ryan said, deriding Democrats’ plans as far too timid. He added, “If we don’t tackle these fiscal problems soon, they’re going to tackle us as a country.”
Democrats said they, too, were eager to stanch deficits that now exceed $1 trillion annually. But they said it needed to be done in a more balanced way, with rich and poor alike sharing the load.
“It’s a path to greater prosperity – if you’re already wealthy,” said Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, top Democrat on the Budget panel, mocking the “Path to Prosperity” title Ryan has given his document. “Because our Republican colleagues refuse to ask millionaires to contribute one cent to deficit reduction, they hit everyone and everything else.”
In a pair of preliminary votes expected Thursday, conservatives were offering their own proposal with deeper spending cuts and far faster deficit-reduction than the GOP plan, claiming to balance the budget in just five years. Democrats were pushing a measure featuring pumped-up spending for education and new tax credits for companies creating jobs and raising wages, while claiming savings from winding down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, government waste and reductions in farm payments.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., looks on at left, as Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., ranking Democrat on the the House Budget Committee, gestures during a news conference on Capitol Hill
Both were destined to be defeated.
Underscoring the prickly partisan gulf over how to tackle the budget’s drastic imbalances, the House late Wednesday on a 382-38 vote easily shot down a compromise, bipartisan deficit-cutting plan by moderates of both parties that mingled tax increases with spending cuts.
The measure was modeled roughly on a package produced by Obama’s deficit-reduction commission. The commission’s plan drew praise from prominent deficit foes but was treated coolly by Obama and congressional leaders of both parties.
The House also voted 414-0 Wednesday to reject Obama’s budget, with Democrats accusing the GOP of forcing the vote to embarrass them. Democrats were concerned Republicans would use campaign ads to link Democrats who supported Obama’s plan to all of its details, including tax increases and boosts for unpopular programs.
The Washington Times has more about the vote:
Republicans wrote an amendment that contained Mr. Obama’s budget and offered it on the floor, daring Democrats to back the plan, which calls for major tax increases and yet still adds trillions of dollars to the deficit over the next decade.
“It’s not a charade. It’s not a gimmick — unless what the president sent us is the same,” said Rep. Mick Mulvaney, a freshman Republican from South Carolina who sponsored Mr. Obama’s proposal for purposes of the debate. “I would encourage the Democrats to embrace this landmark Democrat document and support it. Personally, I will be voting against it.”
But no Democrats accepted the challenge.
Watch Mulvaney, below:
Congress’ budget is a nonbinding road map that suggests tax and spending changes that lawmakers should make in separate, later legislation.
Particularly with voters deciding control of the White House and the Capitol in November, the two parties are sure to stalemate each other’s budgetary priorities until after the election.
The House GOP budget would cut spending by $5.3 trillion more over the next decade than Obama’s would – out of more than $40 trillion that would still be spent during that period. It envisions repeal of the president’s health care overhaul and sets a course for deep reductions for highway and rail projects, research and aid to college students and farmers while easing planned defense cuts.
It also would cut taxes by $2 trillion more than the president over that time, leaving Republicans seeking about $3.3 trillion in deeper deficit reduction than Obama.
Drawing the most political heat was Ryan’s plan for Medicare, the $500 billion-a-year health insurance program for older Americans that all agree is growing so fast that its future financing is shaky. Both parties know that seniors vote in high numbers and care passionately about the program.
Republicans would leave the plan alone for retirees and those near retirement, letting the government continue paying much of their doctors’ and hospital bills.
For younger people, Medicare would be reshaped into a voucher-like system in which the government would subsidize people’s health care costs, which Republicans say would drive down federal costs by giving seniors a menu of options that would compete with each other. Democrats say government payments won’t keep up with the rapid inflation of medical costs, leaving many beneficiaries struggling to afford the care they need.
“It ends the Medicare guarantee,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said of Ryan’s budget.
“This plan doesn’t end the Medicare guarantee,” said Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz. “Arithmetic does. Unless we change something, unless we put it on a solvent footing, the Medicare guarantee is gone.”
Republicans would turn Medicaid, the nearly $300 billion-a-year federal-state health insurance program for the poor, into a grant that states could use as they wish. They also would trim its growth by $800 billion over the next decade.

NOT ONLY DOES OBAMA HAVE ANY SUPPORT ON HIS PROPOSED BUDGET FOR 2013, #HR4872 AND THE #UnaffordableCareAct DID NOT PROVIDE ANYONE WITH INSURANCE, LOWER PREMIUMS, OR ACCOMPLISH FUNDING TO PROVIDE FOR THE UNINSURED.

THEREFORE, RICK SANTORUM HAS BOLDLY DECLARED TO OBAMA:
“ANYTHING YOU CAN DO, I CAN DO BETTER”
as Rick Santorum proposes A REAL PRESIDENTIAL POLICY ON HEALTH CARE AND INSURANCE, that we can all live with, fund, and get access to care:

Healthcare Freedom Agenda: Rick Santorum's Prescription for America

OBAMACARE’S BROKEN PROMISES
President Obama said that “If you like your plan, you can keep it.” That was then, this is now.  Obamacare is already changing the nature of health plans and making some of them disappear. The Congressional Budget Office has said that 20 million Americans will lose their health insurance by 2019.
President Obama said that his health care plan would lower health care costs to the country.  But now CBO says that his health care plan is going to raise costs over the next decade, and increase the deficit.
President Obama said that his health care plan would lower costs to families, because giving a government program to another 50 million people would keep health care costs down.  Guess what—Americans’ health insurance premiums are rising.  The common thread is that President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid were willing to say anything to get Obamacare passed. And they did say anything, true or not.  Nancy Pelosi even said that we had to pass the bill to see what was in it.  Now we know.

WHAT’S IN OBAMACARE?
Obamacare, based on Romneycare, features overarching regulation on insurance companies governing what benefits their policies must offer and what range of prices they could charge.  It also includes an unconstitutional requirement that individuals buy conforming policies; $500 billion dollars of cuts in Medicare; a panel to determine the cost-effectiveness of the treatments your doctor wants to provide; and penalties for employers who don't offer the right kind of health insurance.

SO WHAT SHOULD AMERICANS DO?
Every American should have access to high-quality, affordable health care with health care decisions made by patients and their physicians, not government bureaucrats.
The same will be true under Rick Santorum’s health care plan.  It will promote patient-centered health care rather than government- centered health care.  Americans would take refundable tax credits and choose private insurance. All insurance plans that are licensed in a particular state would be eligible, and each company would be free to set its own premiums. Low-income individuals would get extra tax credits so they could buy the same kind of health care as other Americans.  Health insurance companies could offer high-deductible plans carrying lower premiums combined with health savings accounts, or more traditional managed care or fee-for-service plans.
Rick Santorum will not cut Medicare funding and choices (as did President Obama) in order to fund a new entitlement and disguise its real cost.  Medicare needs to be improved and strengthened through premium support and expanded choice so it is on a sustainable path for everyone, young and old.
Another approach is legislation sponsored by Georgia Representative Tom Price, a physician, which allows employers to purchase whatever insurance plan employees choose. Employers would still enjoy the same tax benefit for providing coverage, tax-free to the employee, but workers would be able to choose from an entire range of options, policies that they could carry with them when they change jobs.  Currently employees are generally limited to one plan, sponsored by their employer, and lose that coverage when they change jobs.  Employees could also purchase health insurance with tax-free dollars outside the system.
The contrast with Obamacare could not be starker. Rather than turn the insurance industry into a federally-controlled public utility, the Republican plans would allow all Americans, including recipients of Medicare, Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program, to shop around and get their health insurance on the open market - just as they buy other kinds of insurance.

THE U.S. HAS THE BEST HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD
Any attempts to reform America’s health care system should enhance and improve our existing system.  During Rick Santorum’s time in the Senate, he promoted choice and freedom in health care policy through the creation of Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and promoted choice and private sector competition to improve and strengthen Medicare for our seniors.  America should avoid following the same failed paths that Britain, Canada, and many other countries have pursued with their government-run health care systems.  In fact, one study, by former CBO director June O’Neill, showed that uninsured Americans have better access to some preventive tests and screenings than insured Canadians.
By a variety of measures, America is the world’s leader in innovative medicine.  Since themid-1970s, American residents have won the Nobel Prize in medicine more times than residents of all other countries combined.  The United States also holds more medical technology patents than all other countries combined.
But America needs American style healthcare reform with more choice, innovation, and competition driven by the people -- families and employers, patients and doctors -- not Big Government or bureaucrats.   Instead, in ObamaCare and RomneyCare, the government is driving people into government dependency.  This is not life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness- this is dependency and coercion rather than freedom.

HOW DO WE PAY FOR HEALTH CARE?
The U.S. health care system’s costs are so high, in part, because of frivolous lawsuits.  One major objective of reform, not even seriously put on the table in Obamacare, should be promoting healthcare liability reform in the states and as it relates to federal programs like Medicare.
One of the strengths of the U.S. health care system is our free-market approach.  Where possible, we should enhance that approach, empowering individuals to purchase Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) rather than being dependent on employer-sponsored health insurance programs.  These can be combined with high-deductible plans to address concerns over costs and the potential effect of severe or catastrophic illness at the same time.
Real concerns of families and patients need to be addressed in a new system, including  quality, cost, and access: e.g. rising costs, portability needs, pre-existing conditions, cost transparency, access to qualified medical personnel.  We need to get this right for our personal health and well-being, our family budget, and our long term, fiscal health as a nation.  We need to infuse these principles into any targeted health care reforms and into existing government health care such as Medicare and Medicaid.

HOW WOULD COVERAGE WORK?
What to do about Americans who are born with health conditions that make insurance companies unwilling to take them, such as Rick Santorum’s daughter Bella?
Senator Santorum’s plan begins with coverage being easily affordable, so there will be fewer uncovered families with uninsurable conditions.  If people are already insured, then their insurance company has to cover them when their health changes, or when they have a baby who is very sick.  That was the law before Obamacare.  People would be encouraged to purchase private insurance by getting a refundable tax credit to cover premiums, thereby being able to purchase health insurance with pre-tax dollars (as with employer-provided health insurance).  Insurance companies should be allowed to compete over state lines to offer health insurance, to expand the market for insurance.
Once a person has insurance, he would be able to switch to another plan immediately if he has not allowed his coverage to drop, without having to go on COBRA.  If he has a break in coverage, it would be more expensive to buy coverage afterwards.  That gives people an incentive to keep their coverage.  But there are still people who fall through the cracks.  About 2 million to 4 million people a year have uninsurable conditions—about one to two percent of the U.S. population of 313 million.

GIVE POWER BACK TO THE STATES
In order to enable insurance companies to be able to offer low-cost premiums to Americans, those with severe illness need to be offered special health insurance programs through the state, known as risk pools.   Some states have them, and others don’t.  States are laboratories of innovation and have different needs in their populations.  They can also learn from each other as to what works best and what does not.  Senator Santorum is also in favor of the federal government helping states set up risk pools if that’s what they want.  This would be dramatically less expensive than the impositions of Obamacare and provide more choice for those who really need extra help with difficult-to-insure conditions.
Those with pre-existing conditions would receive health insurance, subsidized by the state, through regular insurance companies.  They would be able to choose their health insurance, with the price of the premiums depending on income.   Alternatively, states might select one insurance company to insure all those with uninsurable conditions.  It would be up to states to choose.

POWER SHOULD LIE WITH INDIVIDUAL AMERICANS, NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
Obamacare, inspired by Romneycare, was designed to take health care away from Americans and make them dependent on the federal government and thus is an affront to freedom.   This is why it garnered the sometimes begrudging support of only one party and why 27 states are now challenging its constitutionality in the Supreme Court this week.  Unlike President Obama and Governor Romney, Senator Santorum has never supported government mandates to require people to buy health insurance.
Rick Santorum’s health care policy is the exact opposite—it moves responsibility and choice back where it belongs, to the American family and individuals.  In our problem-solving, let’s also stick with the principles our founders enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and in our Constitution rather than the mandates and edicts of King George by respecting and protecting Americans’ fundamental freedoms.  Let’s embrace freedom and opportunity together and address real challenges with American solutions.  This is also a better prescription for American’s health and future.

Why is this a jobless recovery with 25 million people out of work? It’s because of uncertainty about the Reconciliation Act of 2010:

PROPOSITION FOR A REPEAL BILL ________ TO REPLACE H.R. 4872:

While Obama is definitely right about the urgency to tackle health reform, (as costs are exorbitantly high and we have no program for the uninsured), if we do not create a program to cover the uninsured or reform health care, we will add another $3 trillion to the deficit! The cost of not reforming health care over the next decade will double, adding half of the current deficit, to the $13 trillion dollar deficit, and if we do nothing about it now, half of the deficit by 2020 is projected to be nothing but health care debt: created by 20 years of unwise Congressional spending and legislation, a whopping $20 trillion dollars in the red!

It is not enough to say to the Federal Reserve to print more money for a bailout when the cost of food and gas are inflated, and since we’re a global economy that enjoys fiat, meaning that the American dollar is the only currency that is backed by the government who can write own notes, and while this is a supreme position of financial power and financial and influence, this also makes us vulnerable to attack from other countries who covet our position and status. Essentially, if you control the value of the American dollar, by buying up gold, property, or investments backed by gold, you have the power to control the global economy, and depending on how much you have, it’s like using reigns on a horse. The more wealth you have, the more you control sectors of society, like strings of puppets. I have seen Obama depicted as Puppet Master, but the true Master of Money is the person who is the wealthiest in gold, American property, and investments. While it is true that Obama has written a lot of blank checks, in 2004 it was estimated that the government has 261,007,000,000 ounces of gold/$2,800 per ounce, so the gold value was $730,819,600,000 with $733,170,953,704 American dollars in circulation, which leaves $730,086,429,046,296, or about $730 trillion dollars in reserve.

If we were to sell off our gold to pay down the deficit, the United States is only then worth around $700 trillion dollars. With our current financial problems and people being unemployed, the government is not collecting any real tax revenue from 25 million people over the past 2-3yrs. Qualified unemployment recipients who receive $800 per month cost the government $20,000,000,000/$20 billion per month, and in one year $240,000,000,000,000/$240 billion, so for 3yrs. of unemployment that comes to an ungodly $720,000,000,000/$720 billion dollars, which by the end of this year will add $1 trillion to the deficit! The government can’t tax it’s own money, or make enough back off of taxes from unemployment checks, as it was a government pay-out to begin with! The government gives out close to $1 trillion and gets back only 1/10. The government is essentially loaning out money that was paid in by taxpayers, getting $100,000,000,000/$100 billion in revenue back for $1 trillion paid out.

Continuing this disastrous trend with unemployment will add to the deficit at nearly the same rate as the health care debt, which would put the projected deficit to then $25 trillion. Within the next 30-50 years, just with unemployment pay-outs and health care costs, the deficit will consume the entire value of gold that backs the U.S. dollar, and we’ll be penniless and gold-less, and we’ll have no capital to loan or be able to loan to other countries! Whoever buys our gold will essentially be buying our debt! Even if we used the tax revenue generated off of unemployment checks, that $100 billion, and bought gold with it, we would only add $35 million and some back, which won’t make but $142 million over the next 12 years to offset trillions of dollars spent on unemployment and health care!

So folks, this is where the rubber meets the road: health care has been so high that people have been having to choose between their health or having a roof over their head, a car to drive, and food in their stomachs. This is the main reason the I.R.S. disagrees with Obama’s wage control plan to levy the taxes to pay for health care, as even the I.R.S. knows that even if you took in more taxes to pay for a new health care program for the uninsured, Obama’s legislation fails to deal with the costs of MEDICARE/MEDICAID rising, along with private sector premiums and out-of-pocket costs, so the money it costs to treat the uninsured being used as tax write-offs for hospitals would only address one kink in the hose, like putting a band-aid on a gaping wound that really needs stitches: there are 25 million unemployed who may or may not return to work, but there are really 3 groups of people who make up the uninsured bracket of society. Illegals make up 12 million, 10 million Americans don’t have any insurance, and the other 25 million will get insurance at another job when they return to work or the ones who remain unemployed will be dropped from COBRA. Those who are insured now pay 8% higher premiums, as the hospitals charge insurance companies a percentage to offset the cost of operation for treating those not insured. Now with higher unemployment, insurance companies have jacked up their rates because of a lower pool for their policy.

The question is, why has universal care not worked for MA? MA is now carrying a deficit, against federal law, as universal care does not cover the cost of disability or address the costs of the aging population. MA’s premiums only went down $230 per year/per person, with much higher taxes, running a deficit, AND they STILL put disability appropriations on the chopping block, though that still didn’t stop their deficit or really improve care, lower premium costs substantially, or even offset medical costs to balance their budget. Universal care just shuffles federal money out around the state, and it fails to deal with the cost issues of elderly care or special needs. Which is why C.B.O. numbers are b.s.!

Keeping all of these things in mind of what we can’t keep doing and what has proven not to work, we can’t just do it Obama’s way to our country’s own undoing! America will meet her demise at Obama’s hand if we blindly follow him like sheep to the slaughter! We are to be wise as serpents, but harmless as doves, and while we’ve got to reform health care and do it N-O-W, even tort reform won’t stop this health care abyss!

As a lobbyist in GA in over the past 8 months, I have conferred with Republicans to give approval to fund H.R. 3200, H.R. 3400, H.R. 1200 (striking the mandate clause), and H.R. 3962 with much revision. I addressed committee members to agree to compromise with health care reform, and I garnered Republican concession to accept passage of 3 Democrats’ bills to their 1 bill, with the condition that H.R. 3590 be tabled until it could be revised to address cost issues effectively. The bill was so bad, it was written by Rangel, and it was determined in committee to be a conflict of interest, and I actually believe that Obama was so jealous that I prompted legislators to support this compromise, that it trumped anything he’d ever done in 10yrs. voting present in the Senate, so he refused to have Pelosi support convening on H.R. 3590, which would’ve gotten the bill thrown out entirely over ethical challenge, and he took it upon himself to write another version of it, H.R. 4872/the Recon. Act of 2010, and they used deem and pass to usurp the will of the American people, as the majority of Americans rejected it, as the majority of Americans rejected insurance mandating, federal funding of abortion, cutting $500 billion from from MEDICARE, and funding Thomson prison to house terrorists with pharmaceutical contracts for generic pills to medicate everyone into compliance, (to get them hooked on pills so they need an insurance contract!) I suggest you read the legislation for yourself, and all you have to do is read the first 150 pgs. of H.R. 4872 to see how the health care law is interpreted and will be applied in conjunction with the other bills, which sucks!

We must repeal H.R. 4872 for those reasons listed above, as those are legitimate concerns that revoke Obama’s promise of insuring the uninsured. None of that legislation pays for itself... where is the money coming from --- a $13 trillion dollar deficit?! Cutting $500 billion from MEDICARE will only make MEDICARE costs skyrocket and appropriate $500 billion divided by 47 million uninsured is like the government paying one $10 copay for a general doctor visit, and that’s it! Plus if abortion funding is not struck, that will cost $3 billion or more per year! I worked on revising this health care legislation for 3 months straight, so much so, I felt my legs were shackled to my parents’ computer desk. I would spend up to 18 hours a day some days on the computer, reading bills over 2,000 pages long, making revisions, and then taking an hour to email the entire Senate and an entire day to email the House of Representatives. I made a promise to investors to protect the stock market from this legislation, I promised business owners who were still left that taxes wouldn’t close down their business in this unprofitable economy, and I promised Obama I would turn over every abortion clinic for misappropriation if an amendment was not passed.

While I became certain we could not reform health care Obama’s way and that the law needs to be repealed before it becomes budgetary law before August 9th, 2010, I see that neither the Dems or Repubs know how to fix the problems that they’ve created and failed to govern judiciously, both sides offering inadequate solutions, with Dems offering the most undesirable solution that they’re forcing everyone to do, though their reckless spending and tripling the deficit in less than 2yrs. has increased the desperation that has made health care reform a 9-1-1 emergency! It’s weird: instead of doing their jobs to govern wisely, they’ve spent all of our tax dollars and then used that as the very reason to tax us more and pass more legislation that will tax us to death! Obama gave out a lot of money, but he didn’t tell you he’d try to recoup it with 4 new taxes on the middle class!

I was sure that repealing the bill would prevent further economic disaster, and selling insurance across state lines would help everyone, but no one had a vision of what the future American health care should look like, until I read “Why Our Health Matters” by Andrew Weil, M.D. In this book, Weil establishes medical standards that come from years of experience in conventional and non-conventional medicine, and a blue print for a system that will work in favor of the health of our nation, with health equaling wealth! It also gives a structural delegation of duties that will accomplish what Obama’s czar disciples can’t do, as a small group overseeing the entire state of the American public health. While Weil’s book was loaded with reliable facts, figures, history, and even structural system reform, it still did not tell how to measurably bring cost down or how to implement technology for our benefit to be cost effective. However, this book inspired me to discuss it with my peers, and while some are still holding out hope for Social Security, I have my own legislation to bring to the table. It’s very simple, I wrote it on half a sheet of paper with a marker, but I guarantee that it’s better than anything Obama, Congress, or the I.R.S. thought of to rectify cost issues. The C.B.O. can estimate that costs may go down some, but the C.B.O. can’t tell us how to get there or how to walk it out; however, I can.

I , Aja Brooks, would like to introduce a bill _______ for a National Health Insurance Plan, outsourced to __________. The purpose of this bill is to provide insurance for the uninsured, in the event their state has no program in their budget, or if they can’t attain MEDICAID or have been rejected by other private sector insurance companies. Monthly insurance premiums will be federally subsidized, as optional health coverage available through selecting an additional withholding on your W-4/corresponding tax forms. A National Health Advisory Council will be in charge of overseeing this program, who will interact with State Insurance Commissioners and ____________ outsourced insurance company. The National Health Advisory Council will not be a government position; doctors will submit a recommendation to a Senate committee nominating 10 most qualified doctors or influential health professionals from their field. The 10 most nominated will be the council. The Council will establish a Constitution to uphold the Hippocratic Oath and establish its own rules for terms of service and rules of operation.

The I.R.S. expansion will remain the same as in H.R. 4872, but the I.R.S. will have 3 new departments: wage division, premium division, and records division. The I.R.S. will do what it does best, collecting and recording accurate monetary and related information, and they will do do so by using the taxpayer ID# as a person’s National Health Insurance number. This way, the I.R.S. will be able to easily assess and collect information having to review and substantiate gazillions of 1099 forms, and without having to harass or hunt people down, the I.R.S. would be the only entity to have access to private medical data through use of the Tax ID number, which will track and compile medical data as soon as we add it for hospitals to submit it for billing/tax purposes.

The I.R.S. will analyze all Tax ID claims, those who have opted-in to National Health Insurance, and track the costs to those under other insurance, and also track the costs of those who refuse health insurance and compile it for an annual report for Congress. Congress could then accurately assess medical costs, with the I.R.S. curtailing fraud, and simplify billing for hospitals for those who can’t pay their bills. The computer system will work for Tax ID number only, to eradicate those who don’t pay taxes/to clearly count taxpayers’ contributions, in order to address illegal immigration as a separate cost issue that amnesty would not rectify. Billing pages will say NO TAX ID NUMBER/employer address for those who are illegal or employer tax ID#.

The I.R.S. and government can’t oversee every minute financial transaction to ensure taxes are being properly reported and not misrepresented, but they can more fairly tax, properly appropriate, and identify fraud easier with improved and accurate TAX-ID data based info. That way, it would be easier to extend tax cuts or credits to those who have large medical bills, and give a stimulus check to those who stay in good health and aren’t abusing their body or the system.

Funding for the new I.R.S. data base Tax ID# health information will cost_________. All health care providers must participate or license to practice will be revoked. Records must be submitted when patient information is taken in for admission or appointment.

Those who receive Social Security checks or unemployment checks have the option to opt-in on their forms by asking for additional withholding. This bill extends coverage to those under-insured, most of the uninsured who receive government checks, and those who are unemployed will be added to their yearly federal income taxes/that will be offset when they become employed and file their W-4 over again.

This bill excludes illegal immigrants, for the National Health Insurance Plan, as they do not possess a TAX ID number unless they are claimed as a dependent under an optional employer withholding for workman’s compensation insurance only, once we can accurately assess medical costs by TAX ID #, then we can effectively determine the costs and amount of medical services used by illegals, as to levy a tax of 3%, or require an ID card where they must pay 10% sales tax. The I.R.S. and ICE will partner to manage those claims filed that have the listing as NO TAX ID NUMBER, and the I.R.S. will determine legal work status and recommend deportation if necessary. If an illegal needs care, they must put their employer’s TAX ID NUMBER on the claim, so that withholding can be investigated by the I.R.S., and if they do not work, the spouse or head of household must disclose the employer’s TAX ID#.

While this bill is just a simple readjustment of how we do things, it may be amended or modified to fit legislative language and action as appropriate.

Rick Santorum Backer Foster Friess Promises To Continue Donating

The Huffington Post  |  By Elise Foley Posted: 04/ 4/2012 1:22 pm Updated: 04/ 4/2012 1:59 pm
Rick Santorum backer Foster Friess said Tuesday he will "absolutely not" close his wallet to the candidate despite Santorum's lagging poll numbers and losses to Mitt Romney.
"I have a lot of faith, not so much Rick Santorum -- I have faith in him -- but I have faith in our country and that’s what we are all about," Friess said on Fox Business Network, adding later, "He’s not out yet."
Friess has donated more than a million dollars toward helping Santorum, mostly through pro-Santorum super PAC Red, White and Blue Fund. He said in February that he planned to stick with Santorum until the Republican National Convention, and gave $600,000 to the Red, White and Blue Fund that month.
On Tuesday, Friess said he would not speculate as to whether Santorum would win the Pennsylvania primary later this month -- a race many consider a must-win for the candidate because of its delegate count and the fact that he served the state first in the House and then in the Senate.
"Remember the famous Bible verse -- don't rush to meet ... what you would most avoid -- so we will wait until we get to Pennsylvania," Friess said.
THIS IS WHY WE PICK RICK, AND THIS IS WHY STICKING WITH RICK HAS BEEN CALLED “SMART MONEY”. THIS IS WHY RICK SANTORUM’S DONORS ARE NOT BAILING ON HIM, ESPECIALLY WHEN ROMNEY’S PRIMARY WINS IN #NH, #IL, #MI HAVE BEEN RIDDLED WITH FRAUD AND VOTER BRIBERY, VERY MUCH LIKE OBAMA’S CONQUESTS....

Obama v. SCOTUS
Democrats were unpleasantly surprised by the strong constitutional argument against Obamacare.
By Charles Krauthammer

ArchiveLatestRSSSendFollow•  97423 followers

Outside the White House, April 2, 2012

“I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”
   — Barack Obama, on the constitutional challenge to his health care law, April 2
‘Unprecedented”? Judicial review has been the centerpiece of the American constitutional system sinceMarbury v. Madison in 1803. “Strong majority”? The House has 435 members. In March 2010, Democrats held a 75-seat majority. Obamacare passed by seven votes.
In his next-day walk back, the president implied that he was merely talking about the normal “restraint and deference” the courts owe the legislative branch. This concern would be touching if it weren’t coming from the leader of a party so deeply devoted to the ultimate judicial usurpation — Roe v. Wade, which struck down the abortion laws of 46 states — that fealty to it is the party’s litmus test for service on the Supreme Court.
With Obamacare remaking one-sixth of the economy, it would be unusual for the Supreme Court to overturn legislation so broad and sweeping. On the other hand, it is far more unusual to pass such a fundamentally transformative law on such a narrow, partisan basis.
Obamacare passed the Congress without a single vote from the opposition party– in contradistinction to Social Security, the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, Medicare, and Medicaid, similarly grand legislation, all of which enjoyed substantial bipartisan support. In the Senate, moreover, Obamacare squeaked by through a parliamentary maneuver called reconciliation that was never intended for anything so sweeping. The fundamental deviation from custom and practice is not the legal challenge to Obamacare but the very manner of its enactment.
The president’s pre-emptive attack on the Court was in direct reaction to Obamacare’s three days of oral argument. It was a shock. After years of contemptuously dismissing the very idea of a legal challenge, Democrats suddenly realized that there actually is a serious constitutional argument to be made against Obamacare — and they are losing it.
Here were highly sophisticated conservative thinkers — lawyers and justices — making the case for limited government, and liberals weren’t even prepared for the obvious constitutional question: If Congress can force the individual into a private contract by authority of the Commerce Clause, what can it not force the individual to do? Without a limiting principle, the central premise of our constitutional system — a government of enumerated powers — evaporates. What then is the limiting principle? Liberals were quick to blame the administration’s bumbling solicitor general, Donald Verrilli, for blowing the answer. But Clarence Darrow couldn’t have given it. There is none.
Justice Stephen Breyer tried to rescue the hapless Verrilli by suggesting that by virtue of being born, one enters into the “market for health care.” To which plaintiffs’ lawyer Michael Carvin devastatingly replied: If birth means entering the market, the Congress is omnipotent, authorized by the Commerce Clause to regulate “every human activity from cradle to grave.”
QED.
Having lost the argument, what to do? Bully. The New York Times loftily warned the Supreme Court that it would forfeit its legitimacy if it ruled against Obamacare, because with the “five Republican-appointed justices supporting the challenge led by 26 Republican governors, the court will mark itself as driven by politics.”

Really? The administration’s case for the constitutionality of Obamacare was so thoroughly demolished in oral argument that one liberal observer called it “a train wreck.” It is perfectly natural, therefore, that a majority of the Court should side with the argument that had so clearly prevailed on its merits. That’s not partisanship. That’s logic. Partisanship is four Democrat-appointed justices giving lockstep support to a law passed by a Democratic Congress and a Democratic president — after the case for its constitutionality had been reduced to rubble.

Democrats are reeling. Obama was so taken aback, he hasn’t even drawn up contingency plans should his cherished reform be struck down. Liberals still cannot grasp what’s happened — the mild revival of constitutionalism in a country they’ve grown so used to ordering about regardless. When asked about Obamacare’s constitutionality, Nancy Pelosi famously replied: “Are you serious?” She was genuinely puzzled.
As was Representative Phil Hare (D., Ill.) As Michael Barone notes, when Hare was similarly challenged at a 2010 town hall, he replied: “I don’t worry about the Constitution.” Hare is now retired, having been shortly thereafter defeated for reelection by the more constitutionally attuned owner of an East Moline pizza shop.

Jim DeMint Calls Obama A 'Bully'

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) called President Obama a "bully" Wednesday at an event in South Carolina for his targeted remarks about the Supreme Court. The HeraldOnlinereports:
In Rock Hill, DeMint criticized President Barack Obama for being inexperienced and attacked the health care law now under review by the U.S. Supreme Court for trying to “force people to buy things they don’t want.”
DeMint called Obama a “bully” for recent comments he made against the highest court and said the president and his administration “believe Americans are stupid.”
DeMint is not the first Republican to call the president a bully. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley used the word Tuesday to describe Obama's comments about the health care hearings and Paul Ryan's 'radical' budget.
"What is amazing is what a bully President Obama has suddenly become," she told Fox News. "Here was a man that came in with 'hope and change,' and now he's bullying his way. He's bullying his way on Paul Ryan, saying that he's not coming up with an adequate budget. Now he's bullying the Supreme Court, saying, 'No, they won't reverse this, they won't go against us on this.' That's not how things work. He has to lead. He's shown no sort of leadership when it comes to balancing the budget. He's shown no leadership when it comes to allowing the states to do the will of the people. He continues to say no. To everything."
Obama told reporters this week that he is "confident" the Affordable Care Act will stand because the Supreme Court will not take an "unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress." He also blasted the House GOP budget, calling it "thinly veiled social Darwinism" and a "prescription for decline."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida A&M University president Dr. James Ammons announced Wednesday afternoon that the university would fire band director Dr. Julian White in the wake of the death of drum major Robert Champion. A letter was issued to White citing, "alleged misconduct and/or incompetence involving confirmed reports and allegations of hazing." Ammons talked to our sister newspaper in Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Democrat about the firing."While Dr. White has had a distinguished career in music education and administration within the university as director of bands," Ammons told the Democrat, "I did not feel there was competence involving reporting allegations of hazing within the Department of Music and the Marching 100."
White is a FAMU graduate who has been on the music faculty there for nearly 40 years. He became director in 1998. White says Ammons gave him the choice to resign or be fired.
According to the Capitol News Service in Tallhassee, White is a union member, and as such, the university would have to wait until December 22 to actually separate him from the university, in order to give him enough time to respond.
In addition, the letter places White on administrative leave with pay until the December 22 official firing date.
Also on Wednesday, Florida Gov. Rick Scott sent a letter to the commissioner of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Gerald Bailey, asking the FDLE to investigate Champion's death and the circumstances surrounding it.
Ammons told the Democrat that he was looking forward to the FDLE's involvement in the case.
"We want answers," he told the Democrat. "I welcome FDLE to this investigation to get to the bottom of this."
Champion, 26, a graduate of Southwest DeKalb High School, died following the Florida Classic football game in Orlando last Saturday.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said he suspects hazing is involved in Champion's death. In Florida, hazing is a third degree felony. Sheriff Demings said charges could be forthcoming.
Tuesday, Ammons said the school had suspended band performances.
In a press conference Tuesday, Ammons also announced that the school would form an independent task force to investigate the Atlanta native's death, along with any "unauthorized activities" associated with the school's band, The Marching 100.
The school's "band, staff, students and history" will all be subject to investigation, Ammons said. This is the first time the band has faced suspension.
Since Champion's death Saturday, blogs and social media sites have been flooded with posts speculating that Champion's death may be connected with hazing.
Dr. Ammons addressed those claims, asking people to stop engaging in rumors, but also acknowledging that several band members have been released from the band this semester because of possible participation in hazing.
"Hazing is illegal and it's something that should not happen," he said. "I am committed to making certain that we end this practice" at the university.
Champion, 26, died suddenly following the Florida Classic Saturday. The Atlanta native had just returned to the FAMU marching band's hotel in Orlando when he became sick and complained of being unable to breathe.
Friends of the victim called 911. He was transported to Doctor Phillips Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Authorities said they did not initially suspect foul-play.
Champion was a 2004 graduate of Southwest DeKalb High School.
11Alive News contacted a relative who said the family is in a state of shock and unable to speak about the death. He went on to say they know very little at this time.
In a statement released by FAMU, Band Director Julian White said, Champion "was a very fine drum major who was of excellent character...I had not told him yet, but he was slated to be the head drum major next year."
The university is providing grief counseling for band members and students.
An autopsy was performed Monday. The results were inconclusive.
A FAMU student and former band member who asked not to be identified, told the Democrat that groups within the band haze as an initiation for new members. The student said there was a myriad of band fraternities and some have groups within groups.
The student went on to say inter-band fraternities, including a clarinet section called "The Clones" and an Atlanta-based group called the "Red Dawgs Organization", are responsible for the majority of the hazing in the band. According to the student's statements to the Democrat, Champion, who was a clarinet player before becoming drum major, was not a part of "The Clones." (The Tallahassee Democrat contributed to this report.)

Aja Brooks Today, it was announced the Band Director has been fired over your death: while this can not bring you back, he went down with the ship over this. May God rest your soul, we can not put a price on your life or how you were as a young leader in your community.

I AGREE WITH THE FAMILY: SOMETHING IS TAKING ENTIRELY TOO LONG TO BE INVESTIGATED, AND CHARGES MUST BE BROUGHT AND SERVED WITHIN A YEAR TO TWO YEARS. THIS IS DRAGGING ON FOR EVERYONE.

I WAS PRESENT AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE.
@FOX5Atlanta If those who killed #Champion are not held accountable and charged by gang statute, it sends the message the law is impotent !!
@FOX5Atlanta That's right: it will be another person who dies #FL owes it to everyone to press charges, or it will be another state as well!
@FOX5Atlanta I know that money won't bring #Champion back - his soul is mad as hell that nothing has been done, the state must on his behalf

Let us also renew our commitments to non-violence and put away associations that create unsavory speech toward one another on race.
May we all come together to support the #Champion family as their wounds are fresh, and this report is salt into their wounds.
Racial unity is more than just speech: it is a commitment to not lift a hand in violence as it is to resist and avoid conflict.
let us pray for the #Champion family, as the hardest news has come out that program directors were indeed involved in hazing and promoted it
give us patience and strength to endure the attacks of others who disagree with us and may You change their hearts and minds
let us also be reminded that bullying is real and must be dealt with accordingly so more young people don't die needlessly
let us be reminded today of all days Lord, not to lift a hand in violence to others just because of the color of skin...

Second Trayvon Martin Twitter feed identified

This image is the photograph the late Trayvon Martin used to represent his Twitter identity in late 2011, under the screen name "T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3." Although the Twitter account was deleted, The Daily Caller retrieved it from the social analytics website PeopleBrowsr. The upper-arm tattoo in the image matches one in a close-up photograph on Martin's MySpace page. (Image: Twitter)
The Daily Caller has identified a second Twitter handle that was used by the late Trayvon Martin during the last weeks of 2011.  Tweeting in December under the name “T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3,” Martin sent a message that read, “Plzz shoot da #mf dat lied 2 u!”
It’s unclear who Martin intended the message for, or whether he intended it to be taken literally.
The photo Martin chose to represent himself on Twitter as “T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3″ depicts him in a black Polo cap, looking into the camera and extending his middle finger. The photo’s file name on Twitter’s server indicates that it was taken on the afternoon of June 17, 2010.
At least one website issued a retraction this week after mistakenly linking Martin to a middle-finger-salute image on a Facebook account corresponding to a Georgia teenager who shares Martin’s name. This image, however, was uploaded to Twitter by the teen himself.
On Tuesday TheDC published 152 pages of  Martin’s Twitter activity that were retrieved using the social analytics product PeopleBrowsr.
Additional searches via the same website yielded the Twitter handle “T33ZY TAUGHT M3,” whose activity spanned just one month and ended shortly before Martin began tweeting as “NO_LIMIT_NIGGA.” His Twitter activity under that newer screen name began with the tweet: “NEW NAME, NEW BACKGROUND, NEW TWEETCON, I MAKE CHANGS B4 NEW YEARS!”

Although The Daily Caller has not confirmed with Martin’s family that the earlier Twitter handle belonged to the 17-year-old, there is significant evidence for the conclusion.
A basic Google search for “@T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3″ on Wednesday indicated that corresponds to a defunct Twitter account once used by someone named “Tray.” The same name, entered into the Google Images search engine, generated the photo of Martin flipping off the camera.
Upper-arm tattoos visible in that photo match those depicted in the Trayvon Martin’s MySpace page, which TheDC has also identified. That account includes numerous features, including photos of family members, indicating that it belonged to the slain teen.
Update #1: By noon EDT Thursday, a new Twitter account appeared using the handle “T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3.” It features a photo lifted from this article, complete with The Daily Caller’s logo. It’s unclear who has control of the account, but it’s likely that the name became available when Martin switched his handle to “NO_LIMIT_NIGGA” in December. Twitter did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
Update #2, Thursday, 5:25 p.m. EDT: The Daily Caller has received a tip that the image above, showing Martin with his middle finger extended, also exists in a different form without the hand in the foreground. It’s likely that the two images were successive photos shot from the same camera at roughly the same time. It’s also remotely possible, but less likely, that Martin himself added the hand before posting the image to his Twitter account in 2011. In any event, the version of the image with the hand is the one that Martin used when his Twitter handle was “T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3.” That image, with the hand, was archived in 2011 both by Twitter and by PeopleBrowsr, the social analytics website whose database was the source for the material described in this article.
Update #3: As of 6 p.m. EDT, the new account described in Update #1 (above) was no longer available on Twitter.

Illicit drug deaths up 20 percent in state

Oregon State Police had the most drug seizures in the agency’s history last year. But deaths caused by illicit drugs spiked during the same period, killing 240 people statewide.
The 2011 death toll from heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine or a combination of them was up from 200 the year before, according to state statistics.
The dramatic increase in deaths tied to illegal drugs was reported Thursday by the state medical examiner, the same day state police reported a record-setting number of drug confiscations.
“The sharp rise in illicit drug deaths in just one year is alarming,” said Dr. Karen Gunson, the state medical examiner. “Of great concern is the rise in heroin deaths, probably indicating an increase in the availability of the drug.”
The grim data came as no surprise to Jo Meza, who runs Amazing Treatment, which operates drug-treatment centers in Salem, Dallas and Monmouth.
“No, it doesn’t, because I have had a huge increase at my treatment facility with opiate addicts and heroin addicts,” she said.
Meza described the availability of heroin and other illegal drugs as “extremely high right now on the streets.”
Heroin was by far the deadliest illegal drug in 2011, killing or contributing to 143 deaths, mostly young men. That was 53 more than died the year before, and the most since 2000, when 131 died from heroin overdoses.
Multnomah County had the most drug-related deaths among Oregon counties last year, with 119. That was a 37 percent jump from the 87 deaths recorded in 2010 in the state’s most-populated county.
Marion County had a slight decrease in deaths tied to illegal drugs last year, with 10. There were a dozen in 2010.
Amid the steep rise in deaths caused by illegal drugs, Oregon fatalities tied to prescription drug overdoses stayed at a steady but “unacceptable level” last year, Gunson said.
In 2011, there were 100 overdose deaths from methadone, and another 56 connected to oxycodone. That compared with 101 and 59, respectively, in the previous year.
“The unacceptable level of the number of prescription drug deaths remained steady,” Gunson said. “We must continue to educate patients on the safe use of these medications and continue to warn those who abuse these drugs of how dangerous and fatal misuse may be.”
